New Comers to Canada possess many skills that are not recognized. This project was designed to alleviate this challenge by providing a pathway for these employees in the area of entry level management in manufacturing. Eligible candidates for CertWork prepare a portfolio with help from a workplace mentor that is assessed to a set of standards developed by the Manufacturing industry. If the candidate succeeds, they receive a certification of Management in Manufacturing held by the Canadian Manufactures and Exports of Manitoba.
