This project is targeted at providing prior learning assessment routes for individuals with experience in the military, international credentials, or industry-based training. In partnership with Stevenson Aviation and Aerospace Training Centre, Red River College and Manitoba Aerospace Human Resources Coordinating Committee, a system of assessing candidates has been developed. Phase Two of this project will include validation of the process by recruiting candidates, assessing them and granting credits in order to determine portability of the process, assessor costs, and identifying gap training for the candidates to complete the requirements for licensing.
